The theme for my March classes is ‘button love’. I recently got a set of Papertrey stamps called Baby Button bits, and as I started using them to make up some cards for the class, I thought of what other stamps I had that would work perfectly with buttons. This flower stamp was a recent freebie with Craft Stamper magazine, and the layout of this card is a very unusual one for me – I usually avoid symmetrical designs as I prefer a less uniform style, but I think this works well with the button flowers.

This is one of the stamps from the Papertrey set, very simple, but fabulous with these gorgeous autumn buttons.

There are a couple of text stamps in the set where you can pop a button instead of an ‘o’ – you can’t see from this poorly lit photo, but I’ve added some glamour dust to the lettering to give a bit of sparkle.
This card is using some Doodlebug ice cream stamps which work perfectly with these tiny buttons and some lovely pastel colours.
This card is using the freebie stamp from this months Craft Stamper. I’ve stamped it across the card, then stamped and cut out a butterfly and placed it over the middle stamped image. It’s coloured in with promarkers and lots of glamour dust, then I’ve added 3 tiny buttons to the centre.
This last card is made using the latest digistamp from Pink Petticoat. Absolutely made for adding some cute vintage buttons.
