It’s Lynda’s turn to set the challenge this week at Daring Cardmakers and she set the theme ‘wish you were here’. This is actually my second attempt as I didn't like my first card, I’ll share the card I’m not happy with too.
I thought this Tanda stamp was perfect for a holiday theme, and I decided to pair it with some little strawberries from a sizzix embossing folder.
And here’s my first attempt – I used one of my cupcake stamps for the ice-cream and drew the cone shape onto some Pink Petticoat paper. The thing I’m not happy with is that I think the text is too big in proportion with the rest of the card, but I only decided this after I’d stuck all the letters down!
The other members of the Design Team have come up with some gorgeous cards, so pop over to have a look.

I lvoe both the cards. It is a clever idea to use a cupcake topping as icecream! And there is something very special about 1920's seaside memorabilia isn't there. Fabulous Sharon!

They're both wonderful and the Cornish Riviera is my idea of the perfect holiday destination.
