I’m a bit late this week as I’ve had such a hectic week I didn’t get a chance to make my card before now. The challenge this week over at The Daring Cardmakers is the next in our monthly series of flowers. The flowers for September are Aster or Morning Glory. I started off snipping my own petals to make some asters, but to be honest, they looked a bit pants, and then my Papertrey delivery arrived and I decided to cheat a little and use my new bloom builder die.
I’ve had a hectic but lovely week, and I took the afternoon off yesterday afternoon to meet with my friends Lou and Yvonne. We had the nicest time – we went for a fabulous lunch at Quaglinos, then went shopping in Fortnum and Masons. It was lovely to catch up and have a girlie afternoon. The weather was glorious too, and Yvonne and I had a lovely walk through St James’ park past Buckingham Palace on our way to Victoria train station. Here’s a piccy of us in Quaglinos:

Go on then Sharon, make me jealous - what else did you buy? :D
Nice to see the side profile of the bloom die - lovely card indeed! :)
