Shabby Tea Room – Vintage Boudoir

This weeks challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room is Vintage Boudoir, using this photo for inspiration and incorporating a sewing theme.

I love the colours in this inspiration photo and quickly found some background papers that worked.  I used a Pink Petticoat sewing machine digi image, and coloured it in similar shades, then added a bit of glamour dust to the flowers.  I then added a bit of faux stitching, a vintage button and some lovely pale turquoise pearls.  A friend of mine has just had a back operation, so this card is on it’s way to her.
