DCM – February’s Colour Combo Challenge

This week it's the First Friday of the Month Colour Combo Challenge and it's Jo back again with her choice of colours:

Pink and Red

Well I’m a bit late this week – sorry.  I have had an absolutely mad week at work and have been working late every evening which has thrown me totally off course with my crafting and blogging.  My New Year resolution of blogging more has gone totally out of the window.  I did manage to get my card done (which is all I’ve achieved this week), but have only just managed get time to photograph and blog it.

I decided to use the theme to make Andy’s Valentine card, so I only added a touch of pink as I didn’t want it to be too girlie.  I used some patterned background paper that’s kraft with white spots and just a bit of red, then I used some red core Whitewash card to run though a ledger embossing folder for a bit of texture.  The lovely stamps are all for PTI, and of course I couldn’t resist using more tiny tags.  The little heart border is also from PTI – I haven’t got the die but this is one of the die cuts my lovely friend Chris sent me recently.
