It’s my turn to set the challenge over at The Daring Cardmakers this week, and I decided to pick the theme of Marie Antoinette. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with. You don’t necessarily need to have an image of Marie Antoinette, you could make a card with a general Palace of Versailles/vintage Parisian style, or perhaps something along the ‘let them eat cake’ theme. Here are a couple of photos to hopefully give you some inspiration:
Check out the film website for more inspiration here
And here’s my card. I wanted to recreate the feel of the fantastic mirrored hall above, so chose to include some really rich gold stitched paper, gold chandeliers, and this gorgeous digi stamp of Marie Antoinette from Scrapbook Stamp Society

It's a great challenge and I love your card - especially the chandelier and the birds in Marie-Antoinette's hair.
