Happy Monday! I'm back with another Spellbloggers project for Spellbinders.
This week I'm featuring the Card Creator Window of Memories, Special Occasions die set.
This is such a versatile die set, you not only get the frame die to create all the little windows, but you get a lovely selection of flower and leaf dies to compliment it.
I kept my windows quite simple. I used the Card Creator Untamed Scrolls Rebel Rose die to create an embossed background to put behind the window frame. I did this by using my tan embossing mat so that the die embossed the white card rather than cut it. Then I made a feature out of two of the windows by adding kraft and pink card.
So that the colours co-ordinated, I created my pink card by ink blending some Tattered Rose Distress ink onto some white card. I then used some of the card for the window, then used the rest to die cut one of the flowers. I did the same with Picked Raspberry and Victorian Velvet to create the other two flowers. I then used a pearl brad to hold the flower layers together before attaching to my card with foam pads. I'm really pleased with the flowers - they really do look like velvet or felt.
I really like this window frame, it's a great idea and I'm looking forward to making more cards with it.
