It’s my turn to set the challenge this week at the Daring Cardmakers. Since everywhere I look there are cards using watercolours, I thought I’d go with that for my dare.
Rather than just use my watercolour paints, I decided to use my watercolour markers instead – the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I coloured the marker directly onto the stamp and gave it a little spritz of water. I used the Altenew Painted Flowers stamp set, and this created a lovely watercolour paint effect, but with quite bright colours. The Zig markers really keep their vibrant colours even when you add water, so it’s a nice effect.
Don’t forget to pop over to the blog to see the gorgeous cards the rest of my teamies have made this week, there’s some really beautiful work.
That's a beautiful card, Sharon. I love the images and the water colour effect.
