There are some absolutely gorgeous new stamp sets with matching dies that have just been released by Apple Blossom. I’ll be sharing some ideas for these new sets over the next few days. I absolutely loved working with these new products – I’m pretty sure you’re going to love them too.
Today I’m going to show the cards I made using the ‘Floral Wishes’ set. This set has to be one of my favourites, and I know I’m going to get lots of use out of it.
The matching die set is really useful – save lots of time not having to fussy cut out that wreath if you want to add some dimension.
The first card I created uses the wreath, and I coloured it with Promarker pens before using the die set to cut it out.
I stamped the greeting with Versafine Onyx black, and then for a bit of added interest I stamped one of the small flower elements around the edges in SSS Wisteria ink. I’m really in love with this wreath, it’s just a really useful, versatile stamp, it would be great for Mother’s Day, Sympathy cards, birthdays, good luck – just about anything really!
This next card shows a totally different look using the same set. I went for a chalkboard type effect, and stamped the greeting and flowers onto black card using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. I used the matching die set to make sure those flowers were neatly cut out.
The other little flower stamps in the set can also be layered together in all sorts of ways to create many different looks. On this card I placed them around the top part of a circle die. You could carry this on and create a fuller wreath style if you wanted.
If you’re interested in these stamps you can find them HERE.
I’ll be back soon with some more ideas for the other lovely new sets.
