Today I decided to have a play with my Gansai Tambi watercolours with resist heat embossing. For my first card, I decided to make another Valentine’s card using the lovely ‘I See You’ stamp set from Simon Says stamp. I really like this geometric style heart, which lends itself really well to this technique. I heat embossed the heart with Brass embossing powder then wet the whole area before adding some red watercolour paint. I then spritzed the whole thing with some Oak House Studio shimmer spray.
My second card is a bright and cheerful Birthday card. I wanted the flowers to tie in with the coloured background, so I created the background first, then used shades of the same paint for the flowers, just darkening it a little to make them stand out well. The flower dies are from www.craftstash.co.uk.
