Violets are Blue

Here’s this week’s DT card for Creative Expressions.  I really love this stamp set, designed by the lovely John Lockwood.  There are lots of individual stamps in the set, that make it really versatile, and I love that there are individual flowers and leaves so you can stamp as many as you like and arrange in lots of different ways. 

I remember Jennifer McGuire saying in one of her videos that when she is considering whether to buy a stamp set, she asks herself if she can think of at least 3 different card designs for it, otherwise she doesn’t buy it.  I try and do that myself now, because it’s so easy to buy a set because you see one idea for it, then can’t come up with anything else and you get bored of it after making a few cards.  I can think of LOTS of ideas for this set, so I think you’ll be seeing quite a few more cards from me :)
