Oh I'm so happy with how this turned out. It was definitely a labour of love because it took some time to die cut all those flowers, but it was so worth it. It looks great on my craft studio wall and goes with all my other rainbow themed bits and bobs.
It was actually pretty easy to make (if a little time-consuming!)
I bought an inexpensive polystyrene ring from Hobbycraft, then used a pencil and ruler to divide it into equal sections.
Then I painted each section in a similar colour to the card colours I intended to use (because I knew the flowers might not totally cover the ring, and I didn't want any white showing through.
Then I just worked a colour at a time, die-cutting lots of flowers and then using a hot glue gun to attach them to the ring. I used the Apple Blossom Mini Flowers die set from www.craftstash.co.uk, which you can find here.
Once I'd added all the flowers I then added some flat-back pearls to the centre of the flowers, matching the colours as close as I could with the pearl colours I had.
And now it has pride of place in my craft studio - and my obsession with rainbow colour schemes continues :)
