I tried to recreate that beach sunset for my background using Ecoline liquid watercolours, then added ranunculus flowers in the same colour scheme.

After rummaging through my stamps I came across this stamp and die set combo that was free with Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine a few months ago. It's perfect for this challenge.

It's my turn to choose the challenge this week at The Daring Cardmakers, and I thought it would be nice to limit ourselves to just two colours - and that includes the colour of your card front!
I went for a very simple kraft and white colour scheme for my card, since this is one of my favourite colour schemes anyway.
It's Joanne's turn to choose the photo for this month's Elemental Inspiration at the Daring Cardmakers, and she's chosen this beauty:
I particularly liked those little pebble shapes so decided to use those as the main feature on my card, then I went with the beautiful shimmery blues and greens, and that pretty butterfly.
The circles are cut using the fabulous Spellbinders Cascading Circles die - I cut it from black card, then used some shimmery interference paints from Cosmic Shimmer and Prima to get those beautiful peacock shades.
The butterfly die is from Apple Blossom, and I used the same paints on that.

Nat has chosen this weeks challenge at The Daring Cardmakers, and she wants to see superheroes.
I didn't really have any suitable stamps or dies, so I went to Etsy and bought this cute digital image to colour. My little nephew Toby is quite into Batman, so I thought I'd make a card for him and save it for his birthday.
I think he's going to be pleased with it :)
It's Miri's turn to set the challenge this week, and she wants us to use at least 5 different patterned papers from our stash - and bonus if they are spring colours.
I don't generally use a lot of patterned papers on my cards, so this was a tricky one for me. I'm certainly not short of patterned papers in my stash, but I am never happy combining patterns, so I took the easy route and went for my favourite Pink Petticoat polkadots and printed them in 6 different spring colours. I then stamped some flowers and leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus stamp set and fussy cut them all out.
The rest of the team were slightly more adventurous than me with their paper selection, so don't forget to pop over to the Daring Cardmakers to check out their makes.

I really loved that duck egg blue cup with the birds nest and eggs, so decided to combine that idea with some pastel, spring-like colours:

I needed to make a few male birthday cards, so I thought if I used some metallic card for my smooth/shiny element, I could combine it with a masculine colour scheme.
I loved the theme of this one - I think having different textures on your card always adds interest, so please join in if you can as I think you'll enjoy this one.

I kept mine very simple, with a torn strip across the card to use as the focal point for the other elements:
I used some patterned papers from previous Simon Says Stamp monthly kits, some enamel flowers, and the greeting is from the Daisy Chain sentiments stamp set from Apple Blossom (my current favourite stamp set)
